Scrolls and Roses
I’ve been working on these paintings for over a year and they are finally complete. Both paintings utilize cast ironwork patterns found in Savannah. The patterns have been layered multiple times in sap green, chromium green, burnt sienna and alizarin crimson.

These are definitely “Savannah” paintings to me. They exhibit a lot of the colors, mystery, and overall feeling I experience here – in addition to the intentional architectural reference.
